Speaker 1:And today I am calmly excited because I have a special Thanksgiving episode for you. It's also my gift to you and a thank you to you. We're hitting pause to reflect and tap into the power of gratitude Now. We all know how easy it is to get caught up in the busyness of life, right, but today I want to invite you to take a moment for stillness. I'll be guiding you through a short calming meditation that will help you reconnect with what truly matters your health, your peace and your ability to just be present. So, whether you're a seasoned meditator or totally new to the practice, this episode is for anyone who wants to bring a little more calm and gratitude into their holiday season. Okay, so find a comfortable spot, breathe deeply and let's get started. Welcome to the special Thanksgiving meditation episode. I am so glad you're here.
Speaker 1:Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position, whether you're sitting or lying down. Find a place where you can feel fully supported. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and gently exhale. Allow your body to relax and soften. Feel the weight of your body grounded and supported by the surface beneath you. This is your time to pause and be present. Your time to pause and be present. Let go of any distractions and simply tune into this moment of calm. Now bring your attention inward and start to notice any areas of tension in your body, perhaps in your shoulders, your jaw or your lower back, without judgment. Just observe where you may be holding on to tightness and, with each exhale, imagine the tension melting away. Picture it dissolving, leaving your body soft and relaxed. And as your breath flows naturally, let it bring relaxation to each part of your body, from your head all the way down to your toes. Feel the warmth of your breath as it creates space, releasing any heaviness With every inhale. Draw in calm With every exhale. Let go of stress.
Speaker 1:Now bring to mind one thing you are truly grateful for. It could be a person, a special memory, or even the ability to pause and take this time for yourself. Whatever it is, visualize it vividly in your mind. See how the details of this gratitude, the way it feels, the colors, the sounds, the emotions. Notice how this gratitude fills in your heart. Is it warm, expansive? Does it create a sense of peace in your body? Let that feeling grow and spread through every part of you. Let it fill your chest, your arms, your legs. Allow it to radiate outward from you, touching every part of your being. Breathe it in deeply and allow the sense of gratitude to anchor you in the present moment. And, as we begin to bring this meditation to a close, carry this sense of gratitude with you. Know that this calm, this peace and this warmth are always available to you whenever you need them. Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the space around you, wiggle your fingers and toes, gently waking up your body and, when you're ready, open your eyes, take a deep breath in and exhale fully. And thank you for taking this moment for yourself today, and may your Thanksgiving be filled with peace, love and gratitude. Thank you so much for joining me in this guided meditation, this special Thanksgiving guided meditation.
Speaker 1:I hope that you revisit. I hope it's something that you listen to daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. This is something that you can practice every single day. Take five minutes out of your day, that's all it takes. Five to eight minutes is all you need. I think this meditation was about five minutes. And, yeah, keep on practicing, bring that stillness in, bring that calmness in, and I think that you will see the benefits.
